I made this black and purple octopus necklace inspired by Ursula from The Little Mermaid. The octopus pendant is made from a vintage-style black brass piece that was made in the USA. It has beautiful details, is hollow on the back, and feels light, but it’s still big enough to make a bold statement.

I hand-wired several sparkly beads using strong, steel-coated copper wire. The beads include purple hematite, glowing glass, shiny rainbow-coated lava beads, glow stone beads, frosted rainbow shell beads, and shiny rainbow crescent moons and stars. I also added purple lava beads and some dangling black chain to the pendant for extra style. The necklace closes with a lobster clasp and is made with a gunmetal-coated copper chain. It measures about 22 inches long, and the pendant hangs down a little over 3 inches.
